What will you do first with this (new) feature?

We recently made a major upgrade to sections in Nucleus Web that has the power to unlock your creative expression.

Pages in Nucleus Web are built on sections. There are various types and layouts of sections, but one thing they all share in common is this – they all have a background.

At this point, you’re surely thinking, “Of course they have a background, what’s so powerful about that?”

With our latest update to backgrounds across every section type, we’ve given you complete control. In the background editor you can now select any color, image, or video to be the base of your section, including all of our intuitive blend modes and fade controls. What’s more, if you set your section to be inset, you also now have independent control over both backgrounds – that includes the entire section and the inset section.

Complete control over both backgrounds in an inset section.

Consider your creative power officially unlocked as the possibilities with this new feature are essentially endless 💪

Custom Colors Made By You, For You

Each week, we’re so impressed with how you all are using our free tool Colors to generate new colors for your church identity that are motivated by your location. We’ve seen you use Colors for logo redesigns, printed materials, and of course, your websites. Last month we put out a challenge to you, and Clovis First Assembly of God accepted the task. They uploaded this picture to Colors, generated a palette they loved, and sent it over to us.

From there, we fine-tuned it and hit the magic button to instantly transform the visual identity of their site. The result? A fresh color palette that is motivated by their church building itself.

Forsaken Spiritual Practice?

There’s something curious we’re picking up in our survey of thousands of church websites – the values we hold in-person aren’t always equally reflected online. When we gather, our services prioritize all sorts of spiritual practices leading to formation. Online? Church websites and social pages are rarely more than glorified yellow pages.

In this season’s Nucleus Live Class, we want to introduce you to a tool that is designed for facilitating spiritual practice online and show you exactly how to use it.
