Give Your Site A Visual Refresh
Summer can be a slack season at church, which means there’s often a little more time for things that can get neglected during the heavier seasons like Christmas and Easter. Tidying up the storage closet. A fresh coat of paint in the kid’s rooms. A stage backdrop redesign.
It’s also the perfect time to tend to your website. In particular, consider giving it a bit of a visual refresh. To give you some creative energy, we created this free tool. Here’s how it works: take a photo of something unique about your church—your baptismal font, the unique palm tree out front, the stained glass in the sanctuary—and then upload it to Colors.

In a few seconds we’ll analyze that image and extract a brand new color palette for your church website. The best part? Instead of choosing your design direction in a vacuum, your brand colors can now be nominated by your building, your city, your neighborhood. That’s place-based branding (and it’s fun, too!).
Nucleus Posts, From Us For You
Summer isn’t slack for us. We’re just on the heels of releasing Nucleus Posts into the world, and we’re hard at work on what’s next. Posts is more than a blog—it’s an entire communications engine for your church, where every ministry in your church can have a home. No more, “I didn’t even know that event was happening!”.

FBC Watauga, a local Baptist church in Texas, is already using Posts particularly well. They are posting their weekly bulletin as a place to promote every single event that’s going on at church each week. This is arguably the most valuable place to start. We’re also a big fan of their “Friday Letter” which is a weekly and topical pastoral note to the congregation.
Let’s Solve It Once And For All
The chaos of your church communications is the problem that Posts was created to solve. To help put some flesh on this idea, we’re giving you the 7 Building Blocks. Once and for all, you can eliminate the chaos, politics, and guesswork at your church. Get started here with the Church Communications Masterclass, and in less than 30 minutes learn everything you need to know about revitalizing your church comms strategy and where Posts fits in.
