Do you hear that robin chirping? She’s telling you to clean the garage and tidy the backyard. It’s the time for some spring cleaning, and unfortunately the list doesn’t end after the yard is neat. Your digital domain likely needs some tidying up as well. Let’s tackle it together 🤝

If you’ve logged in to Nucleus in the last day or so, you’ve probably already noticed that we beat you to the cleanup. We have completely redesigned the Overview Screen for you, putting things where they belong and eliminating elements that bloat the space. Navigating between apps happens where it always has, in the upper left corner, and the rest of your movements are now powered by an all-new search bar.

Start typing any keyword about where you may want to go in Nucleus, and we’ll immediately start surfacing intelligent results to help get you there expeditiously. And we didn’t stop there – you can now summon the search bar from any page in Nucleus by simply hitting CMD+K on your keyboard. Now you can effortlessly get to wherever you want to go from wherever you happen to be.

Let’s make use of that new power by hitting CMD+K+Web to head over to your All Pages list. I know you have some work to do here. There’s likely some pages In Progress that need to be edited, some others that are ready to be published, and certainly some that should be archived. Doing a little bit of pruning to this list will make room for the things that you’re going to build at your church this year.

CMD+K+Banners will bring you to the Launcher app where you can do some similar work. Make sure that your Easter banner is deactivated, archive your Christmas ones, and consider setting the schedule for your upcoming VBS or Summer Camp. While you’re in this app, take a fresh look at your Launcher to ensure that every next step is timely and accurate, and nothing worth being there is missing.

The flurry of tax season is recently in the rearview, but go ahead and CMD+K+Giving to do the work today that’s going to pay off at the end of this year. To be able to send out Giving Statements, Nucleus requires a verified account. You can comb through your People list here, seeing whose accounts and not yet verified, and simply follow up with them and ask them to verify their account. You’ll thank me later.

Do these three simply things today, and you’ll be able to exhale in a way that you didn’t know you needed.
